Featuring pieces by artists in the R Community. All proceeds donated to the R Foundation, a not for profit organization committed to the continued development of R.

Bidding will begin prior to R|Gov Conference, and winners will be announced on the afternoon of December 4th, 2020. Pieces will be sent to winners shortly thereafter.

Lot 1

Explore the randomness and hidden art of the number π (pi). A circle of 360 degrees is split into 10 different stepping directions and each digit of π defines its own step direction. Two tiny markers show where the path starts and ends. The color conveys where the walk started, walked past and ended, from yellow at the start running through pinks, reds, blues, purples and ending with green. The “pi-walk” was created with R.

Medium: Printed with archival ink on high-quality Hahnemühle Photorag fine art paper. This paper has a nice subtle texture and an off-white paper tone.

Limited Edition: Yes, limited edition of 100 (and one artist proof), but this is the only one that is signed by the artist
